Again, I have to admit to ignorance.  How long is the finished version a la 
Lifehouse Chronicles?  Is that it?  What do you think he edited out?  
Lyrics?  Music?  Both, for the final WHO'S NEXT version?

Of course, it's speculation.  I'm in Intuitionist mode for this discussion.  
But I do have this self-indulgent notion that I can recognize genius when I 
hear it.  ;)

2) as the esteemed Brian Cady once pointed out, Pete has virtually no chance 
of any commercial presence with a solo album, so a Who album is his only 
option on that front.

Depends, maybe.  Pete still seems to have a reasonably high profile as 
Sixties rockers go, and recent Who and website activities have raised it 
even more.  Maybe he just needs to look at his promotional opportunities a 
little more carefully.
