Re: the unknown element
Me: "This alchemy existed last year. They have all stated that the band
will continue as a working entity. The structure of the group and their
chosen producer is completely unknown to us. We could discuss the other
pieces of this 'element' as we have some information to go on."
From: "L. Bird" <pkeets@hotmail.com>
"What producer do you mean? Producer of live shows or producer for a new
album? Any by structure, do you mean how they'll work out the songs?"
I mean producer of a new album (or singles in Scott's world). And yes, by
'structure' I mean how they'll work out the new songs.
As with any working relationship, it is the structure, agendas and baggage
that have the greatest impact on how everyone feels at the end of the day.
They could even overcome bad material if they could all just get along.
Where IH and FD failed miserably is in the bad feelings that were left over
when they were completed.
IH was the last album. That fact alone makes it a failure. It killed off
The Who as a creative force. Goddamn IH!
