I happened to catch the tail end of the new VH-1 show "strange frequencies".
Roger had challenged some young guitar player to play a certain guitar run
perfectly even when his fingers were shredded and all the strings were gone.
The prize was of course musical success and excess. But of course it wasnt
good enough for him and he made him play it over and over again .

creepy and seems to be the Rod serling/ crypt keeper  type for the show.
What i saw of it wasnt bad.
  Vh1 did something very odd to promote the show.  The would break in with
an animated sign with sound right over the program/ or video you were
watching.  Its the most annoying  type of advertising i've ever seen and yet
it obviously worked because i saw the show.  But i hope it doesnt become a
habit for them.
