RE: The Ox in Japan / New Album?

I also heard a show on the radio a few nights ago called "Who's Next - 30th
Anniversary". They played some of the Who's Next album, but it was a lot of
interviews as well. Roger said The Who was going into the studio in
September to try recording a new album. In his words, if it was any good,
they'd release it and go on tour. If not, they'd throw it all out.
Assuming this is still the plan, how does Abbey Road fit into that picture?!
Did anyone else catch this show? It was by MJI Radio Networks, a national
deal. Their website is one big promotion for themselves and has no real
info on their programming. Which sucks, I would have loved to record
that...
