Re: Ultimate Who Collectors Item Unused ticket from Dead/Who 76

As usual Bruce is right there are probably "a lot" of
unused tickets from these shows which failed to sell
out.

Keep in mind that the two Oakland 76' shows though
short on attendance were not short on performance
value. By now most collectors and fans has had a good
many listening hours to the 10/09/76 show and keep and

eye/ear out in the coming months to an equally
sounding 10/10/76 show which will soon so I have heard
be re-mastered off the original reel to reels...

And though I really should stop now but I won't there
may just be a film somewhere down the road to be made
of about that weekend in 1976 featuring some rather
obscure footage of the Grateful Dead and "Who knows"
maybe some of The Who included as well. I heard it
might be called:
"This Glorious Afternoon". Will keep you updated if I
hear of anything more :)

The 1982 shows in Oakland did sell out and rather fast
if I recall and they were superb shows indeed, I still
remember the 10/25/82 show as if it was yesterday and
when they launched into that amazing medley of Tattoo,
YMB etc. it just reminded me of how incredible this
band can get on "such a night".

Peace & laughter,

Dave & Corie...
