RE: MTV

I've watched a little of MTV's anniversary party today, and I'd say about
everybody they've got performing is a has-been. They've talking with the
eighties bands/rappers/hiphop artists about how great it was back in the
good old days. Maybe they'll eventually work up to somebody more modern.
<sigh>

Somebody did ask if rock was on the way back, but no one would comment. I
don't guess Pete's recent improvs around TKAA are going to make very good
MTV fare. They may not make the kind of sexy videos that do so well on VH1
late night, either. Need a definite marketing plan for this one. ;)
