You can get DVD burners for your computer now, for maybe $500-1000.  Same 
set up as cd burners, I gather.

There was a DVD player that you could use to record to video tape, the Apex 
model AD 600A, but I haven't heard anything since the RIAA sued to make the 
manufacturer change it.  I think lots of people went for that one.
