Soundtrack Distant Early Warning

Apologies if this shows up twice...

Just saw a TV preview for a new movie called "Almost Famous" by Cameron
Crowe ("Jerry Maguire") "featuring the music of Elton John, Led Zeppelin,
and The Who". Looks like it's the story of a rock-n-roller on his way up
in 1973 (perhaps inspired by "That Thing You Do", the story of a young
group on their way up in the '60s, which also had some obvious
Who-references). The preview opened to the soundtrack of "Go All the Way"
by The Raspberries (one of my favorite singles) and included a clip of the
protagonist standing on a roof overlooking a swimming pool at a party with
his arms outstretched, yelling "I am a golden god", in an obvious takeoff
>from the reasonably famous Robert Plant photo some of you may have seen.
Could be fun AND Who-ful.

Cheers,
