Right you are.  They are going FAST.  John wasn't kidding when he said the 
tour was likely to be "up-tempo."  Compare the beat on Pete's mp3s to their 
older stuff, and even LIVE AT LEEDS sounds slow in comparison.

This speed might have been tough for Roger when he was a kid, but actually 
he's done a terrific job of adapting.  He needs a lot of breath to sing the 
way he always has, but somehow he's worked out how to get it.  He's cut back 
the triplets he used to add at the end of phrases to single grace notes.  
He's having to deal with pitch problems at that rate, too.  And live, he 
sounds just like we expect him to.  Gotta hand the man a lot of respect for 
that.
