Lee:

I made two 45 minute CDs from the MP3's (I don't know why anyone wouldn't
use them all, with blanks less than $1 per), and while the bass is low and
there's a effect on the highs that sounds artificial, it's still not bad
straight. I made these quickly as I camped over the weekend and wanted to
have them. I am now working with them, but I don't mind the mix because as
a bootleg goes these tracks straight are still better than most of what's
out there. The stereo mix is funny, since I'm used to even the worst
audience having Pete on the right and John on the left (both in the middle
here), but it's something I can live with.

The big thing these show is that this was Townshend's tour. Eddie Van
Townshend, one might say. Daltrey's voice sounds better to ears in a hall
than when you can hear everything. It's a shame, but his vocals are now the
weakest part of this band. Still not bad for a 50+ year old, but it's what
you hear when you listen to these tracks.
I may have more comments later...it seems there's an unread digest on my
home computer, so Jeff if you posted a comment I have yet to see it.
