Re: Stay on topic please

This is an ongoing argument I have had with the people at Trinifold (names
witheld).
The bands management feels that there is little market for live concert
videos and or DVDs of The Who, be it a complete classic Moon era show or
something from the Quad tours or even a recent show from the tours here in
the states.

Their argument is that a release of any film would not produce enough
revenue to make it feasible.
Of course the excuse they use and keep on using is the poor sales from the
release of the IOW film. Of course I have argued the point with them over
the films release in the U.K. long before it reached the U.S. however they
don't seem to care and whether or not this excuse is used to cover
something else we don't know about is not disclosed.

There is no doubt Trinifold have no clue how many fans would buy a complete
release of a Moon era show or one of the more recent shows. If it's not
going to make Bill Curbishley a million dollars then he is not interested.

Sad but true I doubt if we will see a release of any official live Who
videos anytime in the future.
