Drummers

Love everyone, except Kenny Jones. Saw him with the band in 79' at the
Chicago Ampitheater, and he was, to put it politely, "invisible" musically.

Re Simon Phillips- I've been a percussionist for 30+ years, and Simon
Phillips on "Sparks" (Join Together) is one of the finest recorded
performances ever, IMHO.

Rhytmically, technically, and most important, with a musical presence equal
to Keith. Listen to Keith on LAL, and then listen to Simon (Amazing
Journey...Sparks). The drums are the melody, and only these two do it
justice.
