Lyrics; sects (sp intentional) on O&S; Yet another perfect man (there must be an assembly line)

Neil:

It's a valid observation. One of Pete's best features (as with any good
writer) is the ability to say a lot with few words. And to me that's the
most interesting feature of WGFA; to most it was a call for revolution when
in fact it exposes the hypocrisy of them.

> Careful. We're getting very close to O&S subject matter here.

Scott:

Really? Are they trading sex over there now? Damn, I never should have
left!

> My sister told me that she read somewhere that Ginger Baker wrote
> a song for the Who. Is this true?

Greg:

Not that I have ever heard, or they ever recorded. He wrote a very few
songs even for Cream.

> Also, Pete's lyrics are great if you don't consider the song, It's
> Hard. "It's very very very very very hard" That really bothers me

Better than the original chorus: "I just want to be popular/I don't really
care who you are/I just want to be popular..."

> My heart is like a broken cup
> I only feel right on my knees

Scott:

One of my favorites too, because I've been there. One thing I've got to say
about Pete (even though I first became interested in his words before I'd
had any such experiences) he certainly has the ability to articulate what
it's like to be in pain over losing someone. Better than any other
songwriter I know of, at least...either that or his experiences in that
arena have been extremely similar to mine.

> he's a perfect man... =())

Patricia:

We all are, but it takes the right woman to bring it out.  So it's easy;
just be the right woman and you'll get a perfect man for your very own.
