FOr those of you who were wondering what happened to the much maligned
former Who drummer.

KENNEY JONES WANTS TO BRING POLO TO THE MASSES: Kenney Jones, who has played
drums for the Small Faces, the Faces, and the Who, is beating a different
path these days: polo. Jones, a member of the Hurlingham Polo Association
and the owner of his own polo club, is launching an initiative to bring
polo -- long considered a sport of Britain's upper crust -- to inner-city
children. Rather than horses and mallets, Jones envisions using bicycles and
sticks to enable children to play the game in the street, on athletic
fields, or "wherever there is enough space." Jones told Britain's Sunday
Telegraph that he plans to approach bicycle manufacturers about producing a
special bike for the sport and then hopefully donating some to youth groups
and churches. He may also tap some of his polo playing friends, including
the Prince of Wales and former Pink Floyd manager Brian Morrison, to help
win support for his idea. "The scheme is in the very early stages," Jones
said. "Over the years, it's become a real ambition of mine to bring polo to
the people and break down preconceptions. There's this idea that you have to
be born with a plum in your mouth to play. But that's not the case."
