Box Set Arrived!

My Avatar box set arrived this morning. It's numbered 0147 (out of 2000).

It's too early for a full review, of course (it'll take me a week to listen
to all 3 CDs). But here's my first impressions:

	- the box also includes several postcards with interesting artwork
	- a booklet with loads of pictures of Baba and a review of the effect he's
had on Pete's life is also in there
	- the songs are written/sung/spoken by a large number of people (Ronnie
Lane, Cole Porter, Ron Wood, Billy Nicholls, Allan Cohen), but mostly Pete
	- there's another booklet with good artwork and passages by Baba
	- the instrumental Baba O'Riley IS GREAT*
	- it's all remastered by Jon Astley
	- the CD-Rom has an 8 minute film of Meher Baba (man walks through park,
man sits down, man walks around, yawn) with PT playing The Masters Prayer
(Pavardigar) as a soundtrack. The CD Rom AutoPlay DOES NOT WORK (I'm not
that surprised). But the video can be watched by playing d:\parvar.mov.

(However, there's no sign of the Lifehouse box set yet - although I ordered
them at the at the same time. Maybe tomorrow)

Hope I've whetted a few appetites,

-MB

*I wrote that 5 minutes ago, and I was wrong. Having listened to the whole
song I can now confirm that IT IS FANTASTIC! Although only a demo, it
captures all the energy and spirit of the song as if it was being played
live by The Who.
