Re: RD Sings Any Old Iron!



I would love to get that!
I just recently got a dvd player and Finally got to watch my copy of Daltrey
sings townshend/birthday celebration.  And having heard almost every version
of behind blue eyse several times I must say that the version with the
chieftans on that dvd is fabulous!
Especially when Entwistle comes out with an acoustic bass and does a
breathtaking solo.
Its quite a testament to his talent.  He seems to be playing the drum
section and soloing on top of it ( all with only ten fingers!).  And the
fact that its the only live version of Imagine a man , and The song is over.
I still find it odd why they never played either of those songs live.
I know that a review of that dvd is old news but Ive been sitting on it
since it came out and had to wait until someone got a player for christmas.
