Re: Quadrophenia Too

That's what I heard. Still, that was Jimmy age 30. Now he's 50.

Or 80?

Thanks for straightening that out for me. You know I'm lost without you.

I'm no one to tell Pete what to or not to do, but Quad is the epitome of
Rock and should not be tampered with.

They could always rerecord the songs, then have the original tracks for a
bonus disc. Yeah...I like it!

Brian W:

I must resist the idea that Jimmy was cured. The way I read it, on the
album he realizes his situation but that's where it ended. In the movie he
"threw away" Mod but Mod wasn't really his problem. No cure there either
(no Robert Smith reference intended). In White City, he doesn't seem too
cure either for that matter...although once again it ends with a sort of
acceptance.

Wait until you start using that math you didn't want to learn! That's when
it gets scary.

Brian C:

As always, the most thoughtful, considered and in-depth answer...but dude,
let's just hope there's no Tom Cruise involvement in any Quad sequel, OK? I
hated EWS; thought it was a waste of Kubrick's talent. I figure the title
was advice on the best way to watch the movie.

Speaking of which, White City's Jim DID wear one false eyelash in the film!
