Does the ghost of rock drummer Keith Moon haunt the State Fair grandstand?

Some think so. During a 1994 concert by singer Roger Daltrey, who was a
member of the Who with Moon, who died in 1978, numerous audience members saw
what they believe was Moon sitting high on an inaccessible grandstand ledge.
A moment later, the figure was gone. Moon sightings have been reported at
other performances by his band mates, so the ghost story has now become part
of the fair lore.

Veterans of the fair say the Moon tale is but one of many legends and myths
surrounding the annual event. Some are true; many are not.
