RE: Sending Olga to London to see The Who.

	My fellow Brothers and Sisters in The Who,
	Every now and then an opportunity arises when one can give back and
do something that feels really good.
	With all the bitching and moaning we read regarding how we can't
make this show, or how we'll have to miss the 6th show on this tour (or how
I can't go to MSG unless 10/9 is added ;-), or how this show was flat (bla,
bla, bla, bla....blablabla) a lister on Petetownshend@egroups has brought
some perspective.

	Her name is Olga, and she lives in Moscow.
	She is truly a Who/Pete fan, and has to deal with the reality every
day, that she will never have the opportunity to ever see her favorite band.
	I unfortunately deleted the digest that had her
enlightening/sobering post, but I'm sure Derick or someone else still has it
if you're interested.

	Her post was powerful enough to get our good friend Derick Bhupsing
motivated to organize a collection of funds to send her from Moscow to
London (and back ;-) to see The Who.  There has also already been a gracious
offer to purchase her ticket and provide lodging in London.  People like
Magik, myself, and many others on that list have already joined the ranks of
contributors.
	This is a great way to share the magic of The Who, and IMHO is what
it's all about.
	A letter to Pete has also been written to inform him of what is
transpiring.
	Derick will be working on details this weekend.
