RD interview on Pixelon

I was able to get to the Who clips at work thanks to a T1 line and they
really are great (and they added more today, inclu. AAA and the "director's
cut" of WGFA.) In the "Behind the Scenes" section of the Pixelon is a clip
where Roger
is interviewed. The interviewer hands him a CD and asks if he can tell us
about it. Oh yeah, Rog says, that's the new BBC disc, "all the tracks they
didn't bootleg - its a very good disc." Geez, you can't see the disc but
apparently pre-release copies do exist somewhere! also, on the new record,
he says that both he and Pete are working on writing songs together (almost
a first, he notes) and that Pete has several good songs in draft form - one
especially that Roger really likes. He corrects the interviewer by stating
that they are not yet in the studio but in the writing stage and repeats his
comment that the album won't be released if its garbage. He also comments
on how great it is to be performing in the lean, mean configuration of a 5
piece, and says its the first they have done that since Live Aid (1985, but
didn't they play at their induction in RnR Hall of Fame later?). Anyway,
there it is.
