Pete's son is Joseph Townshend born November 21st, 1989.  When last seen
publicly, Joe was running around at A Day In The Garden at Woodstock last
year. 
He was also partially responsible for Pete not personally receiving his Q
magazine award, as he had to leave the award ceremony early to pick up Joe
at
school.
