Who sites

Could anyone give me an idea of some well-known Who sites in either London or Brighton? Addresses or general locations of the sites would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame does not restrict itself to honouring
only actors. Musicians, producers, directors and many others in the
*entertainment* industry have had their names emblazoned.
If you can, check out the (awful) 1978 film version of "Sgt.
Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" for Aerosmith lipsynching "Come
Together".
Who cotent? Ummmm...aah....Keith Moon lived next to Steve McQueen.

Sorry; MY mistake! If you download a copy of Real Player G2 (free), you can
watch it too.

The world's OTHER greatest rock band, Swervedriver and Sleater-Kinney. Bob Mould's Sugar covered Armenia ... Mac from Superchunk is a huge fan, too. Mould aside :) These are three of the best bands ever (Swervie IS the best band ever, maybe); much better than the bloated pomposity designated Pearl Jam. -E

Brian:

I don't know what you'd call it, but he actually set his sights on those
three AND The Kinks, and to be accurate The Kinks were bigger than The Who
in those days before TOMMY, and he got The Kinks too. And Talmy was The
Kinks' producer as well.

Joe:

Uh...I THINK the MSG shows were first, unless they played there again later
on. But getting the lyrics wrong is not uncommon; "Make your breath hold
breath inside" from the 1989 tour was common, and there are plenty of
others out there.

The Who have not been so "honored." From my understanding of the process
there are several things that have to occur-one of which that honoree has
to gurantee he/she/they will be there for the unveiling. I believe that
the other hurdles (if you wish to call it that) were cleared a number of
years back and The Who were slated to get a star but Pete would not agree
to attend.

Other criteria include being nomonated and accepted and the appropriate fee
being paid.

The Walk of Fame has a music category. I don't remember all the categories
but I know that Movies, TV and Music are 3. I think directing/production
is another and probably writing as well. That's one of the ways
individuals end up with several stars. You can tell which category a
particular one is for by the little brass icon in the star.
