Re: The Who Mailing List Digest V6 #6

Hi Guys!
I just moved back to St. Louis from Dallas and am trying to cope with my first
real winter in years. My medicine has been listening to the the Fab Four (not
the Beatles, although I love them too.)
I first saw The Who in 65 or 66 when they backed Herman's Hermits. I was
sitting in the sixth row and everyone, including myself was in a state of
shock as you can imagine. I was lucky enough to meet The Who in 71 when
they played at my college and Moon and John asked my girlfriend and I to go
with them for three days to Chicago. I kept in touch with them for a few
years after that and have lots of good memories. I missed the last Quad tour
because they didn't go to Texas..if I would have known I would have certainly
flown up to St. Louis to see them perform once again.
I have lots of memorabilia...I even have some of them enclosed in a shadow box
collage. My wish is that Pete will quit being so stubborn and the Who would
make another hit album (to prove to everyone who the best rock and roll band
is in the world) and then do a tour but only playing small concert halls.
Long, Live The Who!!!!
