I don't remember who that was that wrote the above, but it wasn't me.  However,
I'd say it was pretty much correct.  WGFA was seen at the time of its release as
a slam on the counterculture.  Here's a quote from Mick Farron who was one of
those revolutionaries at the time on WGFA:

"All that sort of romantic 'Viva Zapata!' stuff was very appealing, but thank
God there were people like Pete around.  Thank God everybody wasn’t Jim
Morrison.  I took 'Won’t Get Fooled Again' quite personally at one point.  It
was my lot that were being nailed and I kind of resented the…well it wasn’t an
inference, it was a direct statement…that we were turning into worse tyrants
than the last lot.  And at the time I didn’t feel it was acceptable propaganda. 
In that respect, it happened, so it doesn’t really matter, but I was probably
wrong."
