Cage as Townshend; Star Club lawsuit

Sorry I'm late getting back on this, but I've been on
vacation (it was a good time).

About Cage as Pete: C'mon, Yellow, don't you
see the resemblance? Check out FACE/OFF...
he looks just like Townshend once he began
going bald. Big blue eyes & big nose. And I
think he could handle the accent, no sweat.
BTW, Mark, he's not going to be in SUPERMAN
after all...the film got shelved. Too bad; I think
Burton could've done a great job on it.

I understand it's Harrison who objected the strongest. What does he
think, that it's hurting his sales?<

He said in court that he drew the short straw. <g> Seriously!
But again, I'm sure he went because Paul's still in mourning,
Ringo's busy with his new album & tour, and Yoko would not
be a credible witness since she wasn't there. I guess the
Beatles & Apple figured one of the boys could make the
strongest case. At any rate, Lingasong didn't have the right
to release that tape since the Beatles were under contract
to E.M.I. at the time. Perhaps they want to release some or
all of the album on Apple. More likely, I suspect they think
it's shit and want to bury it as deeply as possible (good luck!)

Most of the songs are available in better renditions on THE
BEATLES LIVE AT THE B.B.C.; still, there are a few ("Red
Sails In The Sunset", "Where Have You Been All My Life",
"I Remember You", etc.) that haven't shown up elsewhere.
Pity. Well, at least I have my copy. <g>

Sorry for the digression--The Who still rule!!
