 er sorry evryone,seems I got my date wrong and confused everybody. The 
second Charlton concert May 1976 has been listed as the official Guinness 
book or records as the "loudest pop group".  So I humbly apologize for my 
mistake. However,Prior to that as I have previously stated many concerts 
around London were measured for sound levels by the authorities and may 
well have included the original Charlton gig. The second Charlton concert 
by the way,is perhaps one of the best The Who ever played. Once again
