I have the 65-67 anthology and their two other albums, Small Faces and
Ogden's Gone Nut Flake.  I remember reading once that their early stuff is
almost a more powerful version of the Who.  I'd say it's fairly accurate,
but I'm sure there will be a great deal of consternation on this list
about that.  

Any way you slice it, they rocked harder than just about anyone at that
time.  They're probably the best British band never to hit it big in
America.  I think they're great, and it's great that all of their early
stuff has been recently remastered.  And it's cheap too!

One more thing: at times, Steve Marriot sounds exactly like Robert Plant.
No wonder Jimmy Page tried to recruit him for Zep.
