PT quote (Beatles)

People have been e-mailing me to say I'm wrong about the PT quote.  I'm
about to watch TKAA, but I'm pretty sure of what I heard.  People have
also been telling me that what I thought Pete said makes no sense in the
context of what he was saying, but I disagree.  Pete was not
complimenting nor trashing The Beatles.  He was trashing the audience
(not the studio audience; I mean the people who listen to rock music). 
He said that most people don't recognize quality, so you just have to be
LOUD if you want anyone to pay any attention to what you do.  His
comment had nothing really to do with The Beatles at all; it was borne
out of his frustration with the AUDIENCE.
