Some questions outa Record Collector

I just picked up the August issue of Record Collector magazine and I've
got a couple of questions out of it:

1) Is "The Who Concert File" out yet in Britain? Two listings have it
coming out in August there. Did I miss something? I thought for sure
someone would have mentioned it. If anybody has any further info on this
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know.

2) There's another ad for an author named Alan Fletcher which says "a
story consultant on 'Quadrophenia' and author of the tie-in novel." The
tie-in novel? Anyone read it?

There's also a good article on the history of the Reading (formerly
Richmond) Jazz & Blues Festival which contains this note: "1966 was the
last time footlights were used at the festival, a decision prompted by
Keith Moon's need to kick them in at the end of The Who's set."

Speaking of Richmond, the Museum of Richmond are looking for people with
memories or memorabilia about rock shows of the 60's there (like The Who
on Eel Pie Island or the 1965 Richmond Fest). They're putting together
an exhibition on it for next summer. If you are so incredibly lucky as
to have been there at the time, contact Simon Lace at the Museum Of
Richmond, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond Surrey TW9 1TP (tel:
0181 332 1141).
