I'm Back, Joe in St. Lucas, and the question about RD feeling used

Hi Everyone,
I've just recently gotten back to school and am back on the list.
Actually, I never really went off of it. You see, I made the mistake of
assuming that over the summer my school would shut down the computers.
Well, I assumed wrong. Thus, when I went back to resume my e-mailing, I
discovered I had waiting for me over two hundred messages! I almost died.
I was so embaressed! I had to get one of the workers in the computer lab
to help me straighten up my entire account. Luckily, the person who helped
me was really nice and didn't make me feel worse than I already did.
Needless to say, I didn't get around to reading all of those listings. (I
know your laughing at me again Kathleen!!:) )
Anyway, this Christmas my dad will be getting a home computer so I can
remain apart of the list even in the summers. (He has an elaborate laptop
which he guards for himself.
I know this seems old now, but weren't the Quad shows this summer
fantastic. I saw them at the PNC Bank Arts Center and they were great. I
was in the fifteenth row, center isle. KAthleen can verify that they were
great. And, while I was looking through my binoculars for a really good
look at Pete, he looked directly at me, flashed me the greatest smile, and
nodded his head in acknowledgment! I almost died. My mom and I kept
nagging each other for the binoculars after that!
Anyhow, it was the best night of my life and both my mom and I
retained a buzz for a week after.
Now for Joe's question: Yes, this episode of the Who on the Smothers
Brothers is on tape, along with an abundance of other Who footage, in the
film "The KIds Are Alright." I'm surprised you've never seenit before. I
remans one of my favorite films of them.
In regards to Roger feeling used, I find that hard to believe. If
anyone does their reading, they'd know that up until the time of "Tommy,"
Roger had started to feel a bit left out and out shun by Pete and Keith. I
really think he revelled in the attention. And as far as Pete's being
jealous, he really needn't be, for I now plenty of girls, including myself,
who are captivated by him, and not Roger's exposed chest (not that there's
anything wrong with his chest). I just dig Pete, what can I say? He's just
so cerebral and cool.
Before I go, would have to again say that this summer was the best one
I ever had. NOt only did I find three great Who posters while visisting
family in Chicago, but I got to see the Who live, and gazed right into the
eyes of Pete Townshend-incredible!
Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know how many of you think the Who
is going to tour again. IF they do, and I really hope they do, I'm going
to go to as many shows as possible (I should have listened to you
Kathleen). I know that at the end of their last show in Florida Pete
implied that there would be a future tour, but you never can be too sure
with Pete. He's apt to change his mind. LEt's keep our fingers crossed.
(Sorry about taking up so much room of the list, but it has been about
three and a half months).

Cheers,

Jennifer
