Lawn Chairs at PNC

Someone recently wrote that you can bring your own lawn chairs for the lawn
section of the PNC Arts Center in NJ. This used to be true but is no longer.
I think the venue now has a contract with Budwieser who will rent chairs for
something like $5 a piece. I guess if the state will sell it's name to PNC
Bank (it was formerly known as the Garden State Atrs Center) then this little
bit of commercialism shouldn't be surprising.

Just a few questions:
Does anyone else think that the extreme lack of advertisement for the Quad
tour is due to the over-the-top sell out that the '89 tour was?

Is anyone else anoyed at the fact that The Who are playing venues like PNC
Arts Center with other artists such as the Villiage People, Donna Summers,
and Styx? Aren't The Who better than that? (This is supposed to be a
rhetorical question)

Obviously questions 1 & 2 are related but can't a group be big without
selling out?
(also meant to be rhetorical---but if you have insights please share)
