Tommy

I don't know if any of you have the Tommy CDROM, but it is real;ly
good. It is well-pu together and has a lot of interesting stuff, both
on the disc and in the accompanying book.

As far as what Pete says there, Captain Walker was believed dead.
He came back and found his wife in bed with the lover. He killed the
lover, and the mother and father told Tommy he never saw heard or would
say anything about it to anyone. This is the original album stuff,
and I think it is pretty well translated to the broadway version.
Ken Russell made the change to kill the father in the movie, because
he had an Oedipus complex (so Pete says or jokes).

Hope that helps some.
