FACE DANCES: REVIEWED ON THE SONICS MUSIC SITE

For your reading pleasure!

The Who Face Dances/MCA

I for one am celebrating this Who Face Dances/MCA reissued & remastered CD.
Despite this album being written off by some fans & critics who think
alike, listening to it now in its upgraded new form I can say that everyone
who bashed this album better go back and hear this new reissued CD! Even I
missed some stuff the first couple of plays years ago! The other earlier
versions of this CD don't matter at all now. The 'sonics' are bloody
fucking miraculous and the band hits you square in the face! Checkout "The
Quiet One," "Cache Cache," & the classic "You Better You Bet" for warm ups!
Before your through with this CD you will be flattened! As a bonus, 5
unreleased cuts are included to give you more of a whipping. 3 unreleased
songs from the Face Dances sessions are interesting and they are "I Like
Nightmares," "It's In You" & "Somebody Saved Me". 2 live cuts "How Do You
Do It Alone" from Chicago, December 8th, 1979 and "The Quiet One" from Shea
Stadium, New York October 13th, 1982 are shakers! All the original artwork
is restored and great new liner notes the albums history are informative
and 2 cool unreleased pixs from the period have been included. The digital
overhaul is a BLOW OUT! Errr....Get this CD now. YOU BETTER YOU BET! Jay
