I talked to a friend in St. Louis and what the radio station did after the Who concert at Riverport is something they do after most major concerts - they play the studio version of the concert setlist and between songs they add prerecorded audience noise and create a fantasy concert. Actually, this process isn't much different from how most "live" albums are produced. --Steve
