This is a classic case of what is called a troll in Internet
parlance. Someone comes in to a list, or a newsgroup, or whatever,
and makes comments designed to cause an uproar. Some 14 year olds
find this an interesting sport. All of you expressing your righteous
indignation are in fact rewarding the behavior since your response
is precisely what he seeks.

The only answer to a troll is to ignore it. If no one rises to the
bait, they get bored and go somewhere else.=20
