Why did Kenny Jones leave the Who?

As I understand it, Kenny left the Who due to some serious falling out
with 
Roger and Pete. Pete had been working with Simon Phillips and was
pleased 
with the results. Kenny wasn't called to work on the Tommy tour and
threw a 
hissy fit. His girlfriend called Pete and Roger, telling them where to
take 
it. Apparently the boys weren't too kind with Kenny and frankly, that
sucks. 
Kenny is a solid drummer. Simon's better, but that's beside the point.
Tommy 
was Pete's all star band anyway.

P.S. good to hear that Face Dances is currently under re-mix. I await.
Does 
anyone know if it will be on MCA or Warner?
