15 Years Ago this month

Pete goes to California to spend a month at Meg Patterson's
electroacupuncture clinic in California.  While there he may have worked
on writing new songs for "All the Best Cowboys have Chinese Eyes," "It’s
Hard," and some of the writing on his book "Horse’s Neck"

20 Years Ago this month

Ronnie Lane contacts Pete for help in making a solo album that will
eventually become the duo album "Rough Mix"

25 Years Ago this month

The Universal Spiritual League releases the Meher Baba-dedicated album "I
Am" produced by Pete and featuring 3 Pete solo tracks

30 Years Ago this month

Manfred Mann releases their album "Soul Of Mann" with a cover of "My
Generation"

On the 17th, The Who appear on BBC's "Top Gear" performing "Happy Jack,"
Run, Run, Run," "Boris The Spider," and "See My Way"

On the 21st, The Who perform at Leeds University

On the 29th, The Who perform at the Saville Theatre as part of a Sunday
"Soundarama" presentation.  This gig was the first for The Who garnered
by their signing with Brian Epstein’s NEMS Enterprises booking agency. 
The Koobas opened, followed by the last minute addition of fellow Track
Records artists, The Jimi Hendrix Experience.  This may have also been
the 1st concert performance of "A Quick One While He’s Away."

The Who may have recorded "Glittering Girl" at De Lane Studios, London
sometime this month or next.
