Pete is one sexy guy...

...or so my wife tells me.  In response to the "Pete Lust" post, I
know many women who have it in for Mr. Peter Dennis Townshend.  
I remember watching the Who's Farewell Tour live on HBO back in '82,
and this girl next to me said "Wow! He is so cute.  Look at those eyes!"

I said to her, "What Roger?"

"No Pete, she said, continuing to stare.

Pete just has that "thing" which is probably like an energy source that
just appeals to people.  He is charismatic, his eyes are penetrating, and
he walks with a swagger (especially when drunk --:))  Women and Gay Men
feel this and are attracted to him sexually.  Straight men feel it too, and
our "attraction" channels into "Pete worship."  Mind you, he would have a 
billion fans devoted to him just for his songwriting alone, but there's more
to his being than just musical talent.  He's coool, you see.
