Absolutely--Though I thought some of the ARP sounds themselves were a
bit average, the integration of synths into a rock context where they
were not the center of attention (like ELP) was the best I'd heard. 
There's some pretty good stuff on Abbey Road, too.   "Relay Breakdown"
got named that because of  a stuck relay AND the fact that an earlier
version had some elements of "The Relay".  It was actually a working
title that never got replaced.
