"The Who --Silver Anniversary"

I know this is old news to most of you but I was SO EXCITED when I saw
the video from the compilation/box set and saw, I think, Bill
Curbishley(?), with the same poster that I recently acquired during a
rock n' roll fair. The name of the designer of the poster was Gary
Grisham and his wife insisted that I wait until he returned (from
whatever he was doing) to sign it. It's the silver, red, blue and black
poster of the early Who with the signature arrow through the "o". To
those interested, I still have that picture of Pete with the bloody
hand framed, what can you say about adolescent obsesssion? One should
grow out of it but some don't! I also still have the Rolling Stone
article it came from, where Pete mentions what a waste the tragedy of
Cincinnati was. It really struck and upset me when I read the rebuttal
in the next "Rolling Stone", this guy/girl was a family member of one
of the victims and this person was really upset at Pete for saying what
a waste it was, I guess he/she thought that Pete meant that the
person's life was a waste, I'm still not sure. They sent the white
roses, that the Who had sent, back to them, they were meaningless to
them. Anyway, this picture has alot of significance to me because I
also related it to the Riverfront tradgedy. Kind of represented their
fragility at the time, let's face it, they had lost a drummer only
months before and now this...sorry for the ramblings....Dana
