I don't know what kind of presentation you must do for your school project
(12/18)....but I would think the following songs would be of use:

Early Who:

The Kids Are Alright
Out In The Street
A Legal Matter
A Quick One

Mid:

Go To The Mirror (encompasses a few of the Tommy themes)
Magic Bus (from Live at Leeds....might have to sacrifice for time)
Water
Drowned
Naked Eye

Of course, I was staying away from most of their "hits" which I would
think many of your classmates would already know....but then again, how
old are your mates...16, 17?  Have fun.
