        I went to the taping of Letterman that evening (thank you so much
PDooger,) and I must say that your friend's account of it is inaccurate.
The band played during the commercial breaks, minus Pete.  Pete only played
"Rough Boys" and "TKAA," which of course was cut off for TV, but the
audience saw the whole thing, of course.  It was great--I wish he played
"TKAA" first, so people at home could see it in its entirety.  Right before
Pete was finished, a guy in a CBS jacket started gesturing with his hands,
and mouthing to us "No applause, no applause."  If he thought I was going
to listen to him, well you know, guess what I did.
