     Here's the May nostalgia listing.  Prepare for the pain!

     The expanded CD of "Live At Leeds" is released

     Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs releases "Quadrophenia" on gold CD's
     Roger's "Best Of Rockers And Ballads" CD, a collection of his solo 
     work, is released in Britain
     
     10 years ago
     Roger's single "The Pride You Hide" is released in Britain
     
     15 years ago
     The Who's single "Don't Let Go The Coat" is released in Britain on     
       the 1st
     John completes recording of the "Too Late The Hero" LP at Ramport      
      Studios, London
     A memorial service is held for former Who manager/producer Kit Lambert 
        at St. Paul's Church, Covent Garden on the 11th.  Pete and          
        Lambert's former partner Chris Stamp attend.
     The Jam release a single with a B-side cover of "Disguises"
     German Polydor releases "Phases," a 9 LP boxed set of The Who
     
     20 years ago
     The Who begin a tour of France on the 22nd
     The Who perform at Charlton Football Ground on the 31st.  The concert  
       is called "Who Put The Boot In?"  With sound levels registering at   
      120 decibels, The Who enter the Guinness Book Of World Records as 
     "The    World's Loudest Pop Group"
     
     25 years ago
     The Who record the majority of the "Who's Next" LP during the month.  
     In between recording sessions, The Who play small, unpromoted concert  
        around England
     John releases his 1st solo LP "Smash Your Head Against The Wall"
     
     30 years ago
     The Who perform at The NME Poll Winners concert at Wembley on the 1st
     A 4-day Irish tour begins on the 6th.  Republicans threaten to blow    
        them up on stage at Dublin's National Stadium if they wear Union    
        Jack jackets, but the group have already ordered jackets made from  
        the Eire tricolour.  Police guard the stage.
     The Who perform at The Rikki Tik Club, Newbury on the 20th.  Pete and  
        Roger go on with a stand-in bassist and drummer when John and Keith 
        fail to show up.  When they finally arrive, Pete smashes Keith with 
        his guitar.  Keith announces he and John are leaving The Who to     
        form their own group.  A week or so later Keith relents and rejoins 
        The Who
     Pete is in an auto accident on the M1 on the 30th
