     ^^After reading the kind words about Bob Mould (my other favorite 
     ^^artist) as an opener for Pete, I thought it would be interesting to 
     ^^talk about who we'd like to see open for The Who:
     
     After seeing The Who a few times with opening acts, I personally 
     wouldn't wish opening for The Who on my worst enemy!  The Beatles with 
     the ressurected John Lennon could open for them backed up by the ghost 
     of Mozart and they'd get booed off the stage.  Don't know why that is 
     except don't get between The Who and their fans.  On a related note, I 
     always wish I could have seen The Clash open for The Who at Shea.
