hy the heck would Pete write a song for Bette Midler?
I find it even stranger that he would write a song for Frank Sinatra! ("Never
Ask Me") I think this was Pete's earlier method of trying to "broaden his
music base". Now he's got "Broadway" and such, no need to write for those
other "cretins"...
