The Woman of Psychoderelict

A few weeks ago, Larry Lawthers posted some excerpts from a 7/8/94 Goldmine
interview with Daltrey, who is quoted as saying:

"The Psychoderelict album wold have been a great Who album. Psychoderelict
for me was fatally flawed because it was obviously autobiographical, even
down to the woman, for fuck’s sake, which is what’s been going on. It’s all
out in the open now. It’s been in the papers in England. It’s fatally flawed
because he didn’t have the balls to act the character on the record, so then
it becomes just pretentious."

When asked whether the woman is the same woman alluded to in the song “The
Shout” or whether it might be a veiled reference to a man, Daltrey replied “I
don’t know”.

Does anyone have any further info. on this woman, who she is, etc.? Do any of
our UK members recall any mention in the papers about Pete and his "woman"?
