White City

The Warner CD cover describes this record as "White City A Novel". Was a
novel or other fiction dealing with the subject matter of the record ever
released? In the CD booklet, under the picture of Pete and that other guy
appears the statement that the film was adapted for "longform video" and
stars PT, Frances Barber and Andrew Wilde. I have never seen this video. Is
it commercially available and is it any good? I think White City is possibly
PT's best solo album, so I would be interested to see this film/video. I
like especially Crashing by Design - good melody, singing and guitar playing
and the song evokes perfectly that bittersweet mood of the latter PT years.
Also, unlike a lot of PT's solo work, CBD isn't too long and is properly
paced - just like the classic PT singles of the 60's.
