        Doug,
   I saw Hooligans in Fullerton, Ca. at the end of last year.  The 
guitarist looked kinda like Pete and the singer tried to pull off the 
Daltrey Woodstock Era look.  They also had a drummer, bass player and 
a keyboardist who also introduced the songs.  They did a real good 
job.  I very much enjoyed myself and would like to see them again.  
One thing they did not try to recreate was the instrument 
destruction.  I don't think they were getting paid a lot.  The club I 
saw them in holds about 150 people tops and four bands were playing 
that night so I would guess the bands were playing more for exposure 
than money.  Unless they have a "Tommy" to pull them out of debt, I 
don't think they could afford to wreck the stage in true WHO fashion.
