If they DO come to America...

I remember when The Who toured America in the Summer of '89 how
surprised I was at how popular the band remained, given how little
airplay they were receiving on the radio.

They sold out 2 shows at Sullivan Stadium in Foxboro, MA in record
time, and The Who were the talk of the town for weeks leading up to
the shows. Radio stations played "The Who: A - Z", etc.

It is now 7 years later (I cannot believe how fast time flies), and
it seems there is even less Who on the radio than there was in 1989.

If they do play a show or two in America this summer, or perhaps even
a small tour, I wonder if the tickets will go as rapidly as they did
in 1989?

I suppose if they only do one or two shows the tickets will
sell out in a matter of minutes, but I wonder if the band could still
sell out multiple nights in stadiums? If ticket sales in the UK are
any indication....!!! (BTW - I HATE stadium shows).
