I don't know about better, but I wouldn't say it was worse. It was
more like the Who, I think. As someone else commented, how much could
Keith Moon have done w/ Quad, it's so structured. There's no room for
nayone to let loose. Even the lead guitar riffs sounded awfully
planned out to me.
The encores on the other hand, had real communication going betwee
Pete & Rog. It was the only time we really got to see Pete *play*,
which for me at least is always the main attraction. Great songs,
great interpretations, and seeing Pete & Rog having fun w/ the
material. It was like a totally different show that was just as good.
